Labor
and Employment Law Practice Our emphasis is on assisting employers in both the public and private sectors and in both union and non-union settings in all aspects of their employee relations. When litigation or administrative proceedings are unavoidable, we are there to provide our clients with quality representation before all levels of Pennsylvania and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, including the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board and the National Labor Relations Board. Additionally, we represent individuals in some types of labor and employment litigation and in the negotiation of employment contracts and severance agreements. We are also equipped to assist our clients with labor-management relations issues including front-line representation and behind-the-scenes guidance in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements. We negotiate contracts for both public- and private-sector employers, and assist in planning and carrying out strike contingency plans. For our non-union clients, we provide guidance and advice on how to effectively oppose union organizing campaigns and keep their companies union-free. Department
